Task description: Today we have been learning about the times in maori . I have learnt that Haurua is  ( half past)  , karaka ( clock ) , Taima ( clock )  , Tekau ma tahi ( Eleven ) . 

HE AHA TE TAIMA? - Maori Rotation

Task Description: Today we have been learning about the times in Maori. The Maori Language is very important to learn because its part of New Zealand. I have also learnt that Haurua is Half past , Clock is Karaka , Eleven is tekau ma tahi , Time is Taima , Twelve is tekau ma rua , and that minutes is Miniti. My task was to complete these questions and create a poster!.

Task Description: Today we have been reading a text called " turning something old into new". I have learnt that there are many plastics over millions of plastics are being solid waste and that we are preventing pollution . we need to stop this issue because animals , plants are dying every day because of this matter . Another thing is that i have learnt how phone covers are made  , They are made by chewing gum and other materials to create it.

THE ROCK - NIUEAN LANGUAGE WEEK PART l

 

Task description: Today we have been learning about the island of niue known as "THE  ROCK " . I have learnt that niue is located in the south-pacific . I have learnt that the island of niue is one of the world largest coral islands . My task was to write 10 facts about the island of niue

IMMERSION ASSEMBLY

 Immersion Assembly

On Monday the 12, we had an immersion assembly on the first day back at school . The theme for this term is “ ART ALIVE “ .  In assembly there were 5 special items that were made from the teachers . The grades in pt england have different types and experiences of what they would do for the theme “ART ALIVE”. 

Team 1 : will be dressing like paintings  , and learning the different colours of elements 

( parts )

Team 2 : will be drawing lots of colourful shapes and learn how to paint beautiful arts

( paintings ) 

Team 3 : will be painting on walls and sheets to creative their own painting using colour dyes and making creative things to add to it 

Team 4 : I'm not quite sure what they will be doing but I have the idea that they will be making arts to colour in . 

Team 5 : will be learning about people who have created arts a long time ago in the 1800s and 1900s . ( I have been learning about Edvard Munch  how he created a painting called

 “ THE SCREAM” This painting was sold for billions of dollars  .  It was the highest amount of money that was sold in the 1900s . 

We had a fun day !
