CAPAINS REFLECTION

     We had a Little assembly to share highlights about camp and the Step-up Programme. Overall there  Highlights were about cooperation and teamwork .      This Morning we have heard highlights from the Captains . This is what they said.

5 things hearing from the year 7s: 

• Learning how to communicate with each other when someone is feeling down
• Getting out of their comfort zone and stepping up.
• there Favourite highlight was 
• Participating activities that they usually do not do
• Caring for others
• 5 things Hearing from the year 8s:
• Having Fun
• Playing games that makes people happy
• There was finding to hard to do activities
• Learning how to be friends with everyone
• Talking about how that like to be leaders
• they like to watch their group grow into leaders.

My Camp/Step up highlight

 What was your personal highlight during camp?

Last week on The 5th of August Year 8s Went to a leadership camp while  Year 7s were back at school doing a Step Up Highlight. On Wednesday Morning we arrived at kauaeranga valley Christian camp. For 3 days we have been doing Rotations and having lots of fun. There were things we talked about. My group was called Coromandel. The Fun Activities we did were Go Carts , Tyre Robes , Air Riffles , BMX , Paint Ball , and etc.We had an amazing time because on Thursday night we had a concert we competed to get point s.Me and My friends were so happy because there was a beautiful young lady called Janelle . she was all about making things exciting for us. We played Cross Games on the first day we arrived .
