Amazing Algebra

Task description: a few weeks ago we have been learning about algebra  here is my presentation that i have finished . 

Art Expo

This is me and my friend we really enjoy the Art expo . We had an adventure around the whole school to explore what other classes have been learning and creating throughout the whole term . I was inspired and amazed in everyone's art work . They worked hard to create their art piece to persuade others what they can do . Team 4s  have learnt about the pacific islands and patterns such as tapa clothes and  the traditional tapa pattern  . Team 5  ( which is our team ) have been learning about different artists  , named Alberto Giacometti , Andy Warhol , Georges Seurat ,  Edvard munch , Sebastiao salgado , Vincent Van Gogh and many more . Team 1 and Team 2 learnt about rogali elephants and been painting different types of shapes and etc .... Team 3 have been painting t - shirts and mixing colours  that forms an Art. I had a fun time examining everyone's Masterpiece  . Im looking forward to another Art Expo ...... 


Here is one of Room 2s Art . They have created sculptures that was inspired by Alberto Giacometti .
The reason why I chose this Art is because I really like how they have primary colours and secondary colours which stands out .

The Starry Sky - Art Work

The Starry Sky 




Task Description: for the past few days our work was to do something similar to edvard munch but i created my own artwork using different colours .
The emotion of this artwork is about how the starry sky is dark, where lightning came upon spreading through the surroundings of the mountains . The reason why I used these colours is to express the coldness and warmness of this location.

COLOUR WHEEL

 

Task description: Yesterday we did a fun activity using different types of colours such as - secondary colours and primary colours . Secondary colours are not the same as primary colours. The primary colours are mixed together which makes secondary colours. Our task was to first draw of what object we wanted then cut it and then grab a paper and do boxes for the paint to go on top. Then, when it was dry we needed to use the stencil that we had and traced them on the painted paper then cut them out. Then we had to glue the papers to another paper .

Task description: Today we have been learning about the island of niue known as "THE  ROCK " . I have learnt that niue is located in the south-pacific . I have learnt that the island of niue is one of the world largest coral islands . My task was to write 10 facts about the island of niue

Task description: Today we did an amazing and fun task in the morning. Today's task was to do 5 pictures of a exercise of it then write of how long u need to do it. I felt very surprised and amazed because it made me have more energy.

Task description: Today we have started our first task for the maori language week. I have learnt how fractions that are different.  we did this task to review to see if its easy or not. My task was to show the fractions of the problem and then i had to figure out the answers for the question.

Last week friday we had an amazing production from a lady named Soy Sauce. She was the best in gaming devices. On friday she was amazing. She was from the master games company. We had to help people get back on the right track and not be mean and angry . My group wrote who Jayah , Toni and Aaliah ,  we had to figure out why the mom had kicked dad ( Dave ) out of the house. She had explained the rules in that we only have 4 lives and if anything abusive comes up we lose a life. We also had to figure out why the mom put her friend from work to live with her, even his daughter. This game was pretty hard to unlock. We had tried our best and we had bonus points with a badge and a card. It was really funny and we had an awesome time hopefully they'll be able to come back

Tongan language Week - Tongan Identity

Tongan language Week - Tongan Identity .

This whole week of learning we have been learning about the tongan language week .The identity of then tongan culture have important roles of their being. The theme for this week is called " Fakakoloa'o Aotearoa 'aki'a e lotu mo'oni". This pictures show the meaning of lea fakatonga. The Tongan show lots of good things that are common useful to others.

Facts about their Identity:

• They show respect when dancing
• they believe that  alofa ( love ) is important to others
• They elder have wisdom that are gifted to them
• They are humble when they dance 
• 

Taha Hinengaro

 

Task description: Today we have been learning tongan things for tongan language week . my task today was to pick a proverb and draw what it represents. Tongan language week is very important to celebrate  why? because is shows other people that we should be happy about different cultures.

‘Auhia ‘a motu’a fānifo: A surf board rider carried away by the current

or waves.

Meaning: Someone who we rely on in difficult/challenging

times because of their wisdom and experience. Like a surfboard

rider carried away by the current or waves, we rely on their experience

to get him/her

to safety.

Task description: Today we have been learning about Taha tinana . Taha tinana is about your fitness or wealth of yourself , to look after yourself. This task was really fun to keep me active

Mertic Conversions

Task description: This week we have been learning about Mertic conversions , it was really fun and cool , i have learnt that there are numbers that get smaller and some numbers that get bigger .
