This poster can help u when we might have another lockdown. ( hopefully not ) But these things can help u and ur family during lockdown.

what colour is your hair?


Today for our rotation we did a maori section of learning. I have learnt about phrases and what colour the hair is. My task was to create a poster of this task . i based the words and colours of the picture.

Ngatu keeping the tradition alive

 


Task description: Today we have been learning about the tongan ngatu and why it's important . learning about this i came to realize that tongan language and what they do . They are  slightly similar to what cook islands do but different. The tongan tradition is trying to keep the ngatu alive. what we need to do is to help them by supporting them  , making sure that it will get passed from generation to generation , communicating with others , gather togther.

Task description: Today we have been learning tongan things for tongan language week . my task today was to pick a proverb and draw what it represents. Tongan language week is very important to celebrate  why? because is shows other people that we should be happy about different cultures.

‘Auhia ‘a motu’a fānifo: A surf board rider carried away by the current

or waves.

Meaning: Someone who we rely on in difficult/challenging

times because of their wisdom and experience. Like a surfboard

rider carried away by the current or waves, we rely on their experience

to get him/her

to safety.
