Family Treasure

In reading this week we read the book Family Treasure. We create our own picture and our story about our Treasures.

swimming

In the warm pool my friends and I did freestyle under the water, it was so fun.  Diving into the water I was kicking my legs really fast.  I love swimming because I love diving in the water. I also love my teacher Mr Moran he is the best teacher ever and Miss King and Miss Davis too.

Frosty and the Kid

Bombing  into the lake the boy made a big  splash. The boy  plummeted towards the water. He hit the water like  a fountain spray.

New Zealand flag

New Zealanders have begun on whether to change their flag from a design which features the British Union Jack to one that features a silver fern. Some people say that the current flag is similar to the Australian flag. Also New Zealand is no longer a part of Britain and we need a new flag that represents our nation.

Nestled

Nestled within the blue and yellow pillow eager children anticipated  the ride. The countdown was on. 3,2,1. Terror mixed with the excitement  was written all over their faces as they were catapulted towards the sky.

Spinning twirling and tumbling the children twisted  their way through the air. As they plummeted towards the water. Their faces grinned in delight. Splash. ‘Can i have another  go please?’.
