The last few weeks we have been learning about tivaevae. it is a cook island story.I have been learning that cook islanders are making tivaevae's for wedding,Birthdays and other special occasion

The idea of making these
Bedspreads were introduced to the cook island in the early nineteens in century by french nuns
from tahiti cook island made their own
What tivaevae means
Tivai means to sew or patch the spelling tivaivai has carried on for many years to
 island to island in new zealand it is pronounced tivaevae

Other island french polynesia and hawaii is pronounced tifaifai and it is different to other
island that sounds it like that.

First day of school

On Monday the 4th of February

Today it was the time to get ready for school.School is a very good thing to go to.We learn different things about Maths,Reading and Writing.The first thing we did was to go to the hall to have assembly.Mr Burt talked about what was gonna happen today.Mr Burt finish talking we all clapped then it was the time to go to our class room.We found out our classes we started playing and things it was really fun

Kia ora My name is Nahea and I am a year 7 student at Pt England school.
This year my goal is to finish my work and do work around school so

My Favourite food is Mcdonalds,KFC,Burger king and all other food.
In my spare time I like to  read books to explore things like wild animals.
My Favourite subject is Maths,reading, and writing.I have 5 teachers in our
space There really kind. Moala is my teacher she’s my home class in room 1.
